Outstanding Academic Performance of SBIT Students:
Generally, the results of our B.Tech Students at the University examinations are impressive with Over 85%on an average. Moreover the EEE branch of Engineering achieved JNTUH Gold medal in the year 2012.
The results of MBA & MCA are 100 % with over 90 % being distinctions and remaining 1st class. The department of MBA achieved two successive University (JNTU H) Gold Medals for 2009 & 2010.
 During 2009-2010, SBIT stood in 4th place in terms of pass percentage in B.Tech. 1st year, in 9th place in Final B.Tech.in the 10th place in MCA and in the 12th place in MBA among 300 JNTUH Colleges
Ms.TUNUGUNTLA NAGAVALLI of MBA 2007-09 batch received Shasi Gupta’s Varshshney Gold Medal for standing first by securing highest aggregate marks among the First Divisioners in the first attempt in MBA Examinations conducted by JNTUH among all 283 affiliated Engineering and standalone Colleges with PG Courses during the year April/May 2009
Ms.NASREEN SULTHANA of MBA 2008-10 batch received Shasi Gupta’s Varshshney Gold Medal for standing first by securing highest aggregate marks among the First Divisioners in the first attempt in MBA Examinations conducted by JNTUH among all 283 affiliated Engineering and standalone Colleges with PG Courses during the year April/May 2010
Mr.K.S.SV.Keshav of B.Tech 2008-2012 batch received Gold Medal for standing first by securing highest aggregate marks a of 90.86 & in Electrical & Electronic Engineering among the First Divisioners in the first attempt in the B.Tech Examinations conducted by JNTUH among all affiliated Engineering Colleges during the year May 2013.
Moreover 10 Gold Medals are instituted by the Management in addition to cash awards for the meritorious and outstanding performers.
Innovative Projects:
The students of SBIT came off with flying colors and brought glory to the colleges through the project works like the SBIT Mini-Car innovation by Mechanical Engineering students, a sensation that stole the lime light where the students designed a model where a four wheeler with a single Cylinder is run with Four Stroke Petrol Engine.
The ECE students have executed a project College Radio, Elite @SBIT, a FM Radio transmitter which can transmit 102.75 MHZ radio signal over 2km range are striking examples.
The Faculty of SBIT submitted 43 Research Project Proposals worth 4 crores of rupees for approval to AICTE.
